ESPORTS COACHES CLINIC
Valuable information for schools that are starting a varsity esports program or exploring opportunities to enhance their program and impact students in a greater way.
STUDENT-ATHLETE LEADERSHIP /RECRUITING EVENT
Students will receive leadership training, meet college coaches from around the country, and can participate in a Fortnite Showcase hosted by the UA Esports Program from 3-8 p.m.

This event, hosted by NAECAD and The University of Akron, will take place all day Friday, March 24, at The University of Akron's Jean Hower Taber Student Union in Akron, OH.
This event is designed to bring together all those who support or are involved in esports programs at the high school and collegiate levels.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Esports coaches and directors, athletic directors, administrators
involved with high school and collegiate esports programs,
and high school esports students.
NEW STUDENT-ATHLETE OPPORTUNITY:
High school coaches and administrators attending the clinic will have the opportunity to bring, at no cost, student-athletes from their school to attend the student leadership/recruiting event, providing opportunities for athletes to develop as a leader on their teams and connect with college coaches from across the country.

Thursday Night Dinner Networking/Social Event
When: Thursday, March 23 from 7-10 p.m.
Where: Courtyard by Marriott Akron Downtown, 41 Furnace St., Akron, OH
Details: Free social event with drinks, hors-d'oeuvres, and food for registered coaches, directors, and sponsors arriving the night before the event. This will give you quality time to network, and learn from, individuals from established programs around the country.

Where: 3rd Floor, Ballrooms A/B/C at The University of Akron's Jean Hower Taber Student Union
Details: The event begins at 9 a.m. and concludes with the Networking/Social Event on Friday evening.
Friday Lunch
When: Friday, March 24 at Noon
Friday lunch is included in the registration price for all paid attendees. Students can either pay $10 at check-in for a lunch ticket that will cover a full lunch including a drink, or they can purchase items at the Student Union.
Friday Night Dinner Networking/Social Event
When: Friday, March 24 from 6-8 p.m.
Where: 3rd Floor, Ballrooms A/B/C at The University of Akron's Jean Hower Taber Student Union
Dinner social event for clinic participants and sponsors with drinks, hors-d'oeuvres, and food. This will give you quality time to network, and learn from, individuals from established programs around the country.
The clinic will also feature sponsor companies that provide products, resources, and services to help you start or enhance the esports program on your campus.
