Atlas 157Q BIOS v144 Update

BIOS Update –  Run from Windows

GG-157qv144.EXE

1. Connect AC power. Before running update make sure to suspend BitLocker if you have that enabled.
2. Download GG-157qv144.EXE and run update as administrator
3. System will reboot to update BIOS. This will update BIOS, ME, and EC. The process can take up to 5 min. During EC update the fans will run at 100%, this is normal.
4. After the update system will reboot a couple of times and then boot back into Windows.

BIOS Update – Flash Utility

GG-QC144.CAP

1. Download GG-QC144.CAP and copy to a removable flash drive
2. Connect AC power and flash drive with BIOS file to laptop. Before running update make sure to suspend BitLocker if you have that enabled.
3. Reboot or power on laptop and tap F7 to launch BIOS Flash Update Utility
4. Select GG-QC144.CAP from media to update BIOS. This will update BIOS, ME, and EC. The process can take up to 5 min. During EC update the fans will run at 100%, this is normal.
5. After the update system will reboot a couple of times and then boot back into Windows.
