MOORHEAD, MN, May 15, 2019 – ByteSpeed has hired Josh Knutson as the Esports and VR Solutions Director.

Before joining ByteSpeed, Josh was the Head Esports Coach at the University of Jamestown (ND) which was one of the first 20 varsity level collegiate programs under the National Association of Collegiate Esports. As an esports coach, Knutson was responsible for all major day-to-day operations of the Jimmie Esports team including recruitment, retention, scouting and game planning, individual and team coaching, and scheduling. He has also been a panelist and speaker at regional and national esports coaching clinics.

As ByteSpeed’s new Esports and VR Solutions Director, Josh will be a resource and guide for high schools and colleges that need help getting started or advancing their esports programs. He will also work closely with HTC VIVE and Oculus on strengthening their product footprints in education and other markets.
